Renewable energy is the only solution for retaining our tomorrows shiny. We need alternative energy sources as the conventional energy sources are drastically drying out while the need and usage are relentlessly bulging up. Solar and wind power become the most feasible substitutes for the inadequate power supply of Indian energy sector. Being one of the largest energy consumers of the world, India's growing needs risk environmental damage from conventional carbon based sources of energy. In Kerala, the present power demand i.e. 3,200 MW will increase to 6,000 MW by 2020-21. The increasing demand which is around 10 per cent per year can be met with renewable energy generation like Solar and Wind Power. Moreover renewable energy embraces lots of advantage factors economically, socially and environmentally.
